About two weeks ago Riverzedge was told they had to relocate. Last night a City Council meeting explained the unsafe conditions the building that has housed Riverzedge was unfortunately not to safety codes and that all bussiness' are required to move. It was great to see all the local support for Riverzedge from the community and the city. As a result plans to relocate to the 2nd Ave School in Woonsocket have begun and Riverzedge will fortunately be able to remain in the Woonsocket area. The breadth and depth of positive change that Riverzedge Arts has provided to the fabric of the Woonsocket Community is immense and important to our future growth and I hope this abrupt change will only ensure its growth and expansion in the days, weeks and years to come.

Nancy WilsonAs a PLTI(Parent Leadership Training Institute) alumni I created this site and The Kids Count Project for Seven Hills, that combines art and relaxation techniques for the autistic community, as part of my community projects for PLTI. Great experience in which these projects would not be actualized if I hadn't taken this free class...check it out under Get Involved! tab. Archives
